Discover Antarctica
DAP Airlines takes all adventurers to one of the most remote places on earth – the Antarctica. On this exclusive trip participants will learn more about the scientific research on the white continent and observe penguins and many other species in their natural habitat.
Already the flight to the center of the Antarctica will leave all passengers with unforgettable memories. From the departure airport in Punta Arenas one will enjoy the great views of the Magellan Strait, Tierra del Fuego Island, Darwin Mountain Range, Cape Horn and the Drake Passage. Starting point of the tours will be King George Island, the largest of the South Shetland Islands and home of the scientific bases.
The following tour options are available for booking:
Day Tour
The day tour will take all participants to the main attractions of the Antarctica and will last approximately 5 hours. The schedule includes the following highlights:
- Visit of the Chilean town Villa Las Estrellas
- Penguin watching on Ardley Island
- Stop at Bellingshausen-Station and visit of the Orthodox Russian Church

Overnight
The overnight tour includes all highlights of the day tour. At the end of the first day, passengers will be taken to the Ice Camp on Collins-Glacier for the overnight. Here they will spend the night in small thermic tents. The program of the second day includes:
- A walk to the elephant colony “Elefanteras”
- Visit of a scientific station near Drake Passage Area
Depending on the weather conditions there is the possibility to visit other attractions before returning to Punta Arenas.

Transportation
The flights from Punta Arenas to King George Island will be operated by DAP Airlines. Depending on the size of the group they will either be transported by the King Air 300 aircraft or BAe-146 aircraft. The transfers throughout the tour will be on a zodiac boat.
